Technical Questions

Q: Why does the Auto-Watch sync fire twice when saving Excel?

Microsoft Excel writes files by creating a temp file, writing data, deleting the original, and renaming the temp file. This triggers multiple file system changes. DataLoom Pro uses a 100ms debouncing window to collapse these into a single re-import event. You can increase the debounce timer in settings if needed.

Q: Can I run CLI validation without a Unity license?

No, Unity must be activated on the build agent to run headless batch mode commands.

Q: How do circular references resolve if a referenced asset is deleted?

If a referenced asset is missing, the resolver assigns null to the field and logs a warning in the Import Report.
