Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Killerarchy. This guide will help you set up your first organized scene in under 5 minutes.

1. Open the Dashboard

The KILLERARCHY Dashboard is your central command center.

  • Go to Tools > DecNet Games > KILLERARCHY > Dashboard.
  • This window provides quick access to the Setup Wizard, Module Settings, and the Demo Builder.

2. Your First Tag

Killerarchy allows you to “Tag” GameObjects with visual metadata without modifying their actual name or adding extra components.

  • Select any GameObject in your Scene.
  • Right-Click and look for the KILLERARCHY submenu (usually at the bottom).
  • Select a professional color from the Presets (e.g., “Soft Red” or “Deep Navy”).
  • Result: Your GameObject now has a high-fidelity visual tag in the hierarchy.

3. Creating a Separator (Bar)

Separators are crucial for organizing complex scenes. They create a “header” style row that divides your hierarchy into logical sections.

  • Create an empty GameObject.
  • Right-Click > KILLERARCHY > Convert to Separator.
  • Choose a label (e.g., [ SYSTEMS_ROOT ]) and a bold color.
  • Result: You now have a professional visual divider that persists across sessions.

4. One-Click technical Showcase

Want to see what a building-scale project looks like with Killerarchy?

  • Open the Dashboard.
  • Find the Build EPIC Showcase card.
  • Click Unleash!.
  • Result: Killerarchy will generate a massive, 250+ object scene automatically tagged and organized, demonstrating the performance and scale of the suite.

[!TIP] Persistence First: Every tag and separator you create is automatically saved to the KillerarchyStore asset. This means your visual organization is safe in Git and will be identical for every developer on your team.
